Kansas is passing a law to allow their residents to possess NFA weapons. This is unacceptable.
We hate the NFA because it allows people to buy Terror Weapons like .50 Caliber Rifles, cannons, and machine-assault weapons. The entire NFA is really a loophole that allows civilians to own military weapons. Congress passed it because they were scared of the Gun Blobby and the Triangle of Death.
So, in conclusion, we must first add .50 Caliber Terror Rifles and assault weapons to the NFA list, then shut down the NFA registry and seize all weapons.
The Discovery Channel has two shows of a most vile nature: Future Weapons and Mythbusters.
Future Weapons shows the true lethality of assault weapons, but its audience is testosterone-enraged teenagers. They deliberately encourage fascination of these foul devices and thus increase the likelihood of firearm ownership. Its one saving grace is that it provides an excellent survey of future weapons to ban, such as shotgun grenades. [All 12-gauge shotguns should be banned because of these rounds. They are just like Raufoss rounds. –ed]
Mythbusters‘ crime is far worse. They show people using, nay, enjoying the use of firearms, including assault weapons. They don’t make any value judgments at all! Once again, impressionable youth are at risk. Additionally, if they keep producing episodes related to firearms, sooner or later they will test the limits of bulletproof armor for the NRA’s propaganda wing. The public must learn these facts from the right source, the VPC.
Finally, an honorable mention goes to Dirty Jobs, in which the host, Mike Rowe, once had to separate steel bullets from lead ones. This was clearly a subliminal message to viewers that it is perfectly acceptable to own cop-killing steel bullets. In reality, there’s no legitimate use for steel bullets, though Gun Blobbers like to claim that soft steel is used as a substitute for lead in some militaries.
Selective Fire: the ability to select your target for a deadly, more deadly, or even more deadly spray of bullets; a fundamental feature of all assault weapons.
The Gun Blobbers claim that .50 Caliber Terror Rifles are not as dangerous as everyone, including military and law enforcement experts, knows them to be. Well, we have a surprise for them. We’ve assembled video proof of the sheer destructive power of these rifles. Behold:
Please forgive the use of black and white film at the end. The destructive energy waves forced us to use a simple, yet durable camera.
Hat tip to Mike Magnum @ The Gun Guys. Without him, nobody would know about the dangers of the .50 Caliber Terror Rifle.
In order to exhibit the worldwide craze over anti-armor rifles, we at the VPC Blog have produced a colored map to display every country that produces a .50 Caliber Terror Rifle or similar anti-armor (or, as the Gun Blobbers call it, “anti-matériel”) rifles.
The list includes a notable set of “rogue states”:
Austria
China
Croatia
Czech Republic
France
Great Britain
Hungary
India
Poland
Russia
Serbia
South Africa
Switzerland
Turkey
USA [Produces more .50 BMG rifles than all other nations combined. Thanks a lot, Ronnie Barrett. — ed]
This proliferation of anti-armor rifles can largely be blamed on the infamous Ronnie Barrett (pictured). We all remember his fantastic adventures, don’t we? He inspired and profited from the development of all other Terror Rifles.
The rapid spread of these weapons is why it is so important to halt foreign sales of .50 Caliber Terror Rifles to civilians; there is clear demand for them, therefore terrorists are likely to seek them out and buy them from Ronnie Barrett himself. However, we do not have to worry much about the other countries producing anti-armor rifles. China, Russia, Croatia, and Serbia are much more trustworthy than Ronnie Barrett. After all, it’s not like they’ve ever indiscriminately sold weapons before. It’s even less likely for a Law Enforcement Organization to buy these rifles and pass them off to terrorists.
In the next installment, we should have a new map on .50 Caliber Proliferation, displaying all countries buying and operating .50 Caliber Terror Rifles sourced from the Producer Countries.
The Gun Blobbers think they are mocking us by embracing the term “Gun Blobber”, but the joke’s on them because their sport is dying. [Even hunting, which we don’t really like though sometimes claim we do for political purposes. –ed]
We just plain don’t like them. The whole concept of “firearms commerce” greatly disturbs us. We’ve noticed numerous loopholes that allow a person to purchase firearms without even being seen.
To combat this, several methods of advertising and purchasing firearms should be banned:
Payment by check, money order, credit card, or on consignment.
All feature the same loophole as Internet Gun Sales, so all must be shut down. Doing so should definitely reduce straw purchases and purchases made by poor people.
The Gun Blobby has designed two deadly features that enable spray firing: barrel shrouds and forward grips. The two are related as both enable the assault weapon’s user to “hose down” a target area while shooting from the hip. This post will perform an in-depth analysis of these two lethal features.
Barrel shrouds are… things. We think the Gun Blobbers grab hold of them to steady their weapons. This enables deadly spray firing by allowing the user to hold the firearm with two hands. Gun Blobbers like to claim that we are confusing shrouds with “handguards” or “heat dissipators”, but we here at the VPC Blog know the truth. The Bullet Hose Study clearly stated that all barrel shrouds are ventilated for heat dissipation so that a user can hold the barrel. Outlawing them is quite necessary; it’s not like criminals are smart enough to wear insulated gloves.
…Let’s move on.
Forward grips enable the easy carrying and shooting of assault weapons. The Gun Blobbers claim that vertical forward grips are not necessary for assault weapons to operate as machine guns, pointing out that AK-47s and M-16s usually lack them. We say they are liars who are misrepresenting us. If you read the VPC.org Bullet Hose Study, it never said anything about “vertical” forward grips; it just said “forward grips.” That means any sort of gripping surface on the front of the rifle is an assault weapon feature. It is the opinion of the VPC Blog that all types of wooden and synthetic grips be removed from rifles. Our ideal gun is the 1860 Henry Repeating rifle. It lacks any sort of handguard on the rifle barrel or magazine tube. This results in burns to the user’s hands if he fires too rapidly.
Without barrel shrouds and forward grips, this rifle can never be an assault weapon. Hot hands save lives.
